Whether you have dyslexia, ADHD or another neurodivergence, it's essential to understand how your unique experiences impact your learning and performance. Susan Steele shares her story of finding the root cause of dyslexia, ADHD and sensory processing issues, and how you can do the same. This video is a must-watch for anyone looking to overcome barriers in their performance in education, sport or behavioural issues.

Parents, are you concerned about your child? Adults, do you want to unlock your potential? Improve your performance in sport no matter what your age?

When your body is rigid your thoughts are rigid too. When your eyes cannot focus and track an object, your mind cannot concentrate on your work.

Susan helps to unlock the potential of children and adults who are challenged by learning, mental health, who want to enhance their performance in sport and education. She deals with the root cause of emotional and behavioural issues through her complete Movement Therapy Programme.

Neurodivergent is a nonmedical term that describes people whose brains develop or work differently.

Why do we need Balance?
When we are about 5 months in development in the womb we develop our senses. But before all those senses are developed, we develop what’s called our vestibular or balance sense. It’s our foundational sense. All our senses are connected to this.

We have neural pathways that when connected the task ie spelling, reading works optimally with little energy consumption. When the synapses is broken, the connection or neural pathway is broken and the information is lost. You may know how to spell very well but not be able to put a sentence together. This can drain the whole system and leave you exhausted. It can show up as fussy eating, having difficulty reading, not being able to sleep, spatial awareness, timing, rhythm, sports and it can leave you exhausted.

What is the solution?
We get back to the basics to strengthen and develop our vestibular system which is a layer under our senses. This will help all our senses integrate together. 85% of the information we take in through our senses is with our eyes. So focusing and tracking are a big part of our concentration and our awareness in our environment.
